DeAgostini Millennium Falcon Engine Grill

This photoetch set includes 3 precision etched panels that combine to fill the entire engine area of DeAgostini’s studio scale Millennium Falcon kit. The panels provide a more pleasing affect when the lights are off and give the engines a more 3 dimensional appearance.
The panels are keyed to aid in alignment and provide pre-installation strength. The backside of the photoetch is ribbed to make curving to the proper shape far easier, without having to anneal the brass.
Also included are two sets of backlight films – one simulates the blue edged glow seen in some shots, while the other is standard “clear” white to diffuse the engine lighting.* PLEASE NOTE: the images below show the prototype artwork for the backlight films. The production films are in single pieces.
